We are NSW’s bulk water supplier, river operator and your one-stop shop for licensing, water trades and water information. We supply two thirds of water used in NSW from our 42 dams, rivers and pipelines to regional towns, irrigators, Sydney Water and local water utilities. We also own and operate the largest surface and groundwater monitoring network in the southern hemisphere and build, maintain and operate essential infrastructure.
The NSW Government has recently announced that all rural water meters should be privately owned. As a result of this we are currently looking to fill a new project delivery position to engage with customers regarding the transfer of these meters into private ownership.
We are looking for a Project Officer to interact with our internal and external customers. Managing the end to end delivery of customer solutions and engagement in the field along with internal stakeholder education and engagement - and as with all WaterNSW projects, safety is our number one priority. The Project Officer will educate and inform all our customers around the progress of works whilst resolving and providing solutions to issues along the way. You will be confident managing change, bringing an understanding of risk and opportunities, with an ability to take action to ensure the internal change is successful.
