What 
you’ll do:
 

  • Lead the development and prioritisation of business innovation and process mapping modelling projects to support operations to continuously and measurably improve processes, productivity, eliminate waste and innovate.

  • Partner with the relevant Operations sponsor to define, develop and deliver project scope and direction in accordance with WaterNSW’s project management framework and content standards.

  • Improve the capability of the business in process improvement disciplines and tools (such as Lean, Six Sigma) to ensure quality business and customer outcomes.

  • Ensure the development of a change management framework and capability to enable the organisation to successfully adopt change programs which to ensure organisational success and outcomes are achieved.

  • Drive the collaboration with the Capability & Organisation Development team and Operations field teams to lead the design, development, and management of an Operations technical competency framework and operational knowledge repository.  


What we are looking for: 
 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Finance or similar discipline; or significant workplace experience 

  • Demonstrated experience as a business improvement professional using BPM or lean six sigma to support or lead improvement projects across several functions.

  • Understanding of knowledge management practices.

  • Strong understanding and ability to apply OCM methodology and principles.

  • Demonstrated experience as a business improvement professional using BPM or lean six sigma to lead business improvement process across several functions

  • Management of multi-disciplinary teams.
