What you’ll do:
Facilitate the development, maintenance and implementation of a technology architecture strategy which aligns with Corporate Strategy and Portfolio business plans.
Co-ordinate the resourcing and management of the strategy development, review and monitor progress, then regularly update the strategy, investment roadmap and alignment to enterprise architecture.
Provide performance updates and reporting, escalating issues to the Manager Digital Transformation as appropriate.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to guide delivery of the technology roadmap architecture whilst maintaining the integrity and evolving vision of the water sector.
Evaluate new technologies and trends to assess value for WaterNSW. Where adopted, establish technology standards and policies.
Oversee the development of technology architectures, including hardware, software, data fabric and network infrastructure that are scalable, flexible, and can support the evolving needs of the organisation.
What we are looking for:
Tertiary qualifications in ICT (or related area) and/or Project and Portfolio Management.
Expertise in various aspects of IT, such as system architecture, network infrastructure, databases, cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), security, and software development methodologies.
Understanding of the architecture, services, and deployment models offered by each provider & how to design and architect complex IT systems.
Knowledge in agile and waterfall delivery methodologies, and business systems (e.g. PEGA, Teams, Dynamics)
