What you’ll do: 

As a Technical Specialist SPC Systems, you will provide technical support to customers via Phone, Remote Support Tools and Onsite visits. This role will also investigate, analyse, define, plan, recommend, develop, test, implement and provide advice and support for current and future WaterNSW Safety, People and Culture (SPC) systems toensure internal and external customer requirements are met.

Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work in collaboration with other technical teams to drive and assist with the technical design on GAP requirements to ensure technical quality and consistency.

  • Implement/develop a delivery and enhancement process for all proposed solutions which adhere to application development best practice, coding standards and documentation.

  • Ensure all technology solutions are designed and implemented to meet the business objectives within the enterprise architecture framework.

  • Develop a project plan for proposed solutions as well as managing the vendor teams for transformation initiatives.

  • Reviews Functional design of given business requirements for technical solution and detailed technical design (TDD)

What we are looking for:  

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field with demonstrated experience technical experience in Safety and Human Resource Support Systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, Microsoft Dynamics 365 HR, Workday, SAP Success factors or similar technologies

  • Demonstrated experience in software development, the software development life cycle, applications development methodologies, business analysis, project management, system & data relationships, solution deployment and service delivery models

  • Experience supporting and administration of incidents, requests and problems for the business

  • Experience in application analysis, design, development, test, deployment, configuration, and operational support

  • Expertise in extensions, delegates, Integration development VSTS/Azure DevOps, LCS and Integration tools (Azure Integration Services)
  • Knowledge in data migrations using data entities and data packages in Dynamics 365 CE
