Customer Data Officer (Multiple roles)

2 x Permanent and 1 x Term (until December 2024).

The role can be based anywhere in NSW (subject to desk availability).

What you’ll do: 

  • Quality assure data submitted to WaterNSW via its portals (or manually) from either customer, DQPs (Duly Qualified Person) or other stakeholders, ensuring data submitted is correct, validated, and consistent with regulatory requirements.
  • Collate, analyse, record, and enter data in the system as required and undertake data verification and validation as directed.
  • Respond to external stakeholders (customers and DQPs), where the data submitted is incorrect or absent, providing feedback in a timely manner.
  • Provide input to training materials and fact sheets to assist self-serving customers to comply with their obligations under the non-urban metering reforms.
  • Support the education whilst working collaboratively with industry participants and customers to support their ongoing data submission and compliance by providing feedback and training materials.
  • Ensure data captured is consistent with the requirements to support data migration to WAVE (internal project).

 

This role is vital to the success of the non urban metering reforms as it sets the foundation for all downstream activities.

 

What we are looking for:  

  • Experience in accurate data entry and working with large volumes of data
  • Experience in a Quality assurance role 
  • Experience with excel or other analytical tools
  • Experience in managing the needs of customers and external stakeholders
  • Experience working within a customer operations function, with focus on delivering quality service to customers
  • Knowledge and experience with validating data and working with spatial systems e.g. Six Maps
  • Experience working for a water utility or similar organisation
