Internal Expression of Interest: Water Accounting Manager

We would like to provide our internal workforce the opportunity to express their interest in the role of Water Accounting Manager.

This role will report to Russell Cocks, Manager Customer Operations and work within the Customer Services Portfolio. 

This is a Full Time, Permanent opportunity.

Salary Range - Starting from 144,550 + 11% super

 

The Role:

  • Lead the successful implementation of systems and processes that ensure water account management activity is processed accurately, consistently and efficiently whilst maintaining transparency and compliance with regulatory, business and system requirements.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline process, user, and customer experience through new and evolving digital solutions and effective change management.
  • Deliver a quality customer experience aligned to WaterNSW’s customer strategy through the leadership of the water account management functions, including leading and coaching team members to navigate and resolve high level and complex customer issues or requests.
  • Analyse and evaluate complex water account issues, developing models providing recommendations for issue resolution..
  • Develop a centre of excellence whereby complex, detailed issues (such as water orders, trade, licensing, billing and water accounting) can be resolved quickly within the team and solutions to complex issues are provided to customers in easy-to-understand language to assist customers make better decisions.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Tertiary qualification in a Business related field or relevant equivalent experience
  • Understanding of customers activities, priorities and concerns
  • Working knowledge of water market systems and customer relationship management systems
  • Knowledge of Commonwealth and NSW Water Policy & Regulations
  • Experience leading a regionally dispersed team with a focus on coaching and supporting team leaders.
  • Experience in the implementation and embedding of technology improvements that focus on quality customer outcomes
  • Experience in account management principles
  • Experience with managing complex issues across multiple functions
