Location: Parramatta (preferred) or Regional Hubs (Albury, Dubbo, Tamworth)
Salary: Starting from $131,851 base + super
Tenure: Full-Time, Permanent
What we are looking for:
A strong desire to contribute your skills and expertise to our business
Someone who is of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander decent / identifies as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and is accepted as such by the community in which they were born, has lived or currently lives
A commitment to promoting and preserving Aboriginal culture and value
Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Property, Business Administration) or experience deemed equivalent
Experience in all aspects of facilities, contract, project, commercial and financial management in both owned premises with a strategic business planning and process delivery focus
Demonstrable experience in instructing valuers, surveyors and solicitors to protect and maintain organisational objectives
Detailed understanding of relevant legislation, regulations and policies, and a proven track record in implementing them. Specifically: Just Terms Compensation, Conveyancing Act, Compulsory Acquisitions and Strata Titles Act
Experience in the operation of computerised information management systems / asset management tools (e.g. GIS, EAMs) and a working knowledge of the relevant operations of the Land and Property Information Office

What you will work on:
Undertake negotiations that informs management decision-making and resolve issues that affect the operation and maintenance of properties and facilities managed by the Operations Portfolio, to meet business requirements
Liaise and work with Corporate Property to establish and leverage commercial procurement arrangements, such as facilities panels aimed at supporting regional teams in managing and delivering facilities and grounds maintenance
Work closely with the Operations Property Specialist, leveraging asset management plans for land, property and facilities to implement a maintenance plan and safety processes for cottages, work sites and offices managed by Operation
Vendor management; Vendor Performance Assessment, Bidding, Quotation, Work Completion, ensure scheduling and projects run on time and in budget
Managing & mitigating operational risk as it relates to built infrastructure and leading the development and implementation of plans for asset operations and facilities management
