What you’ll do:
Leadership: provide leadership in working with WaterNSW subject matter experts (SMEs) and stream leads to define and document business and project requirements as inputs for project development and delivery
Advocacy: support the development of Renewable Energy & Storage Program (RESP) project outcomes in RESP Developer projects through understanding and advocating for WaterNSW requirements
Representation: work as the interface with RESP Developer managers by developing and implementing a program of advice/reviews/inputs to represent WaterNSW interests and objectives for projects delivered by RESP Developers
Coordination: working with subject matter experts and stream leads from across WaterNSW, ensure timely, consistent and quality WaterNSW advice/review/input supporting delivery of RESP projects that are on WaterNSW sites
Assurance: working with WaterNSW SMEs, develop and coordinate implementation of a risk-based framework to provide appropriate assurance to WaterNSW that its business and project requirements are being and have been met throughout RESP project development and delivery and at project completion
What we are looking for:
Tertiary qualifications in business, commercial or engineering disciplines, and post graduate tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in project or contract management
Direct project or commercial management of projects or programs >$100 million in capital value for an owner operator including the need to read, understand and manage contracts
Experience in project development (preferably in the water or electricity generation sectors) and preparing & delivering complex business cases for approval
Strong commercial acumen to identify benefits, opportunities and trade-offs to be made when preparing and executing business cases, project plans and contract management
Experience in successfully managing or monitoring stakeholder engagements and relationships to deliver desired outcomes efficiently and effectively
