What we are looking for:
A strong desire to contribute your skills and expertise to our business
Someone who is of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander decent / identifies as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and is accepted as such by the community in which they were born, has lived or currently lives
A commitment to promoting and preserving Aboriginal culture and value
Tertiary qualification in finance or accounting or equivalent experience in a similar role (e.g. Billings, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Finance Administration)
Proven ability to meet conflicting deadlines and work in a high-volume work environment
Demonstrated commitment to quality customer service
Detailed understanding of Continuous Improvement tools and processes.

What you will work on:
Manage revenue as per the revenue calendar, ensuring revenue is issued on time, whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy
Manage receipting and transaction allocation activities to WaterNSW customers
Assist with revenue assurance projects to ensure minimal revenue leakage whilst maintaining a high degree of professionalism and upholding relationships with key areas of WaterNSW
Manage complex customer billing, credit enquiries and complaints referred from the Helpdesk
WaterNSW operates the state’s dams, capturing and storing water, and then supplying it ready for distribution – for the environment, agriculture, industry and the community. With 41 major dams and hundreds of waterways across the state, we play a vital role at the source of the state’s water, delivering two thirds of all water used in NSW.
