What you’ll do:
Lead the ongoing development, review, and audit of the Dam Safety Management System (DSMS), processes, and procedures to ensure continued compliance with business and regulatory requirements
Manage the assessment and reporting of the ongoing performance of the DSMS ‘Objectives and Measures’; manage the reporting and timely resolution of the audit and assurance actions in RACS
Drive the development and implementation of a competency assurance system to ensure staff undertaking dam safety surveillance have the capabilities, knowledge, and experience to identify abnormalities in conditions, recognise deterioration of dams, manage risk and ensure compliance with regulatory obligations
Engage with stakeholders to identify, recommend, and deliver appropriate assurance assurances in accordance with the DSMS to improve team efficiency and compliance with the business and regulatory requirements
Develop, coordinate, and administer dam surveillance training materials and champion continuous improvement initiatives in accordance with the DSMS
What we are looking for:
Tertiary qualification in Quality Auditing and/or Business, or a related discipline
Experience in the development and implementation of certified business management systems (Asset Management, Quality, Environmental or similar) with working knowledge of Audit and/or Assurance best practice
Effective written and verbal communication skills with experience in liaising, consultation, negotiating and resolving conflicts and managing stakeholder and client relationships
Experience in planning and organising work and monitoring priorities to meet deadlines and to effectively work in a multi-disciplinary team
Knowledge and understanding of dam safety technical training and experience with people with diverse skill sets, learning capabilities and experience
Preferred: Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
