What you’ll do: 

  • Provide expert advice and support to contract managers across the organisation on contract conditions and risk assessments to inform decision making and improve future contract outcomes.
  • Conducting contract management health checks and managing contract assurance to meet commercial outcomes, legal regulations and industry standards.
  • Build organisational capability in contract management practices to improve contract performance in the delivery of value for money, innovative practice, supply security, risk reduction and improve overall contract assurance.  This includes the development and delivery of training modules.
  • Advise on and ensure contract risk mitigation initiatives are implemented and support the realisation of opportunities identified including safety, benefits realisation, cost avoidance to improve commercial outcomes.
  • Provide advice on contract issue resolution processes to resolve disputes arising from contracts.
  • Develop and publish a centralised contract register and contract expiry report to inform decision making and to meet GIPAA and Data privacy obligations.

 

What we are looking for:  

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, other relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in contract management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in contract management, supplier relationship management and performance management in a similar scale organisation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in contract management assurance and support.
  • Experience with ERP systems, and related contract management systems.
  • Previous experience with commercial contracts. 
  • Advanced stakeholder relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence
