Salary range starting from: $95,764.00 + Super 
  
Tenure: Permanent, Full-Time
  

  

What we are looking for:

  • A strong desire to contribute your skills and expertise to our business   
  • Someone who is of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander decent / identifies as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and is accepted as such by the community in which they were born, has lived or currently lives   
  • A commitment to promoting and preserving Aboriginal culture and value  
  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications (typically Trade, Operations, Drafting or Engineering) or comparable relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of drafting requirements and standards and business management systems.
  • Experience in developing, implementing or managing drawing management system.
  • Experience in managing survey plans, drawings and information for resource management planning and asset management needs.
  • Experience in producing engineering or technical drawings for use in design/construction.
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence

What you will work on: 

  • Be the primary document controller of asset-related drawings, drawing standards, and specifications throughout the lifecycle of the asset, including project handover, while ensuring alignment with the Project Management Framework (PMF).
  • Engaging with stakeholders to identify, recommend and deliver on the scope of work to ensure the provision of appropriate services, accurate and current information.
  • Coordinating and facilitating training and awareness workshops associated with the development of Drawing Management practices and processes either by contractors or internal staff.
  • Maintaining and continually improve the legacy drawing registers, hard copy drawings and out-of-date site marked-up documentation to ensure WaterNSW electronic records are current and accurate.
  • Managing the organisation, maintenance, and utilisation of building information modelling (BIM) drawings and models as required to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of systems and processes.
  • Implementing and managing the Drawing Management Standard, which outlines the requirements for quality assurance and quality control processes and perform routine drawing management assurance tasks to ensure compliance with the drawing management system across the full lifecycle of the asset, including revisions over time.
