Salary range starting from: $95,764.00 + Super  

Tenure: Full Time, Permanent 

 

What we are looking for:  

  • A strong desire to contribute your skills and expertise to our business     

  • Someone who is of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander decent / identifies as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and is accepted as such by the community in which they were born, has lived or currently lives     

  • A commitment to promoting and preserving Aboriginal culture and value   

  • Demonstrated commitment to quality customer service. 

  • Sound mathematic skills. 

  • Ability to build effective and positive relationships with customers and stakeholders. 

  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations. 

  • Basic knowledge of irrigation/farming methods. 

  • Current NSW Drivers Licence. 

  • Willingness to travel large distances and conduct field work in a variety of locations.

What you will work on:   

  • Provide responsive, accurate and efficient information services for customers and other business units to sustain customer relationships and enable business revenue collection and protection.  

  • Enable effective resolution of enquires and complaints and provide a point of customer relationship management to meet requirements.  

  • Ensure accurate and legal water extraction at the appropriate time, to enable compliant and efficient water delivery and generate revenue collection/protect. 

  • Ensure the accurate recording, calculation and analysis of customer water usage to enable accurate water account balances for customer business operations and planning.  

  • Support other parts of the business, including Asset Maintenance and Water Monitoring teams while also supporting the rural project team when necessary. 

  • Educate and motivate customers to use new systems and procedures for water ordering and capture of meter data to modernise customer service. 

WaterNSW operates the state’s dams, capturing and storing water, and then supplying it ready for distribution – for the environment, agriculture, industry and the community. With 41 major dams and hundreds of waterways across the state, we play a vital role at the source of the state’s water, delivering two thirds of all water used in NSW
