Internal Expression of Interest: Maintenance Planner

We would like to provide our internal workforce the opportunity to express their interest in the role of Maintenance Planner. 

This role will report to Phillip McDonald and work closely with the Operations Portfolio 

This is a Full Time, 4-Month Term opportunity. 

Salary Range - $108,085.00 + super 

Location: Nepean Depot or Warragamba  Operations Office 

 

The Role: 

  • Developing a schedule of planned works within a region of WaterNSW to ensure the maintenance program is delivered to keep assets compliant, meets the need of customers and reduce extraordinary financial costs.  

  • Developing a regional outage plan and ensure other maintenance projects are planned and coordinated in line with the maintenance schedule. 

  • Collaborating with internal and external customers and stakeholders to ensure availability of the assets and resources in order to deliver the maintenance work in an effective and efficient manner. 

  • Ensuring data is analysed and Key Performance Indicators are reviewed utilising the appropriate analysis techniques, for the continuous improvement in the delivery of the maintenance plan. 

  • Contributing to the development, review and monitoring of operating and capital budgets as required.  

 

What we are looking for: 

  • Relevant Trade Qualifications/Professional Qualifications – Prior Experience within a Water/Production Environment would be advantageous but not essential. 

  • Current NSW Drivers License 

  • Competent computer literacy around Microsoft Applications, Including Excel. 

  • Experience with the use of computerised Maintenance Management Systems and in the development of outage plans. 

  • Experience in the scheduling of maintenance jobs and resource management.
