We would like to provide our internal workforce the opportunity to apply for the role of Water Modeling Practice Lead.

 

This role will report to the Supply Enablement Modelling Manager within the Land & Water Operations portfolio.

 

This is a Full-Time, Permanent, EA Grade 10 opportunity.

The Role: 

To lead the development and implementation of best practice in water resources modelling across WaterNSW, ensuring modelling outputs are technically robust, transparent, and defensible. This role governs the full model lifecycle - from design and development through to deployment, maintenance, and retirement - embedding quality assurance, digital enablement, and continuous improvement. It supports strategic and operational decision-making, aligns with regulatory and climate risk frameworks, and fosters collaboration across internal and external stakeholders, and put safety first.
