What you’ll do: 

  • Foster a cyber security culture across the organisation, maintain the cyber security strategy & prepare cyber updates for the Board while also influencing leaders through expert advice on cyber governance.
  • Identify, analyse, and develop treatment plans for cybersecurity risk to the organisation and its stakeholders, in compliance with Cyber Security legislative obligations and aligned with enterprise risk frameworks and architecture. 
  • Establish & maintain relationships to collect and provide cybersecurity information, including threats and vulnerabilities, to reduce risks and to increase operational resilience. 
  • Respond to cybersecurity events & to sustain operations while managing the cyber security and technology incident response teams. 
  • Establish and maintain a contemporary capability to manage identities.


What we are looking for: 
 

  • Tertiary qualifications in computer science, information security, risk management, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive understanding of cyber security frameworks and standards (e.g. AESCSF, Essential 8, NIST) relevant to critical infrastructure environments.
  • Expertise in risk management, governance and compliance obligations specific to cyber security for critical infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and/or executing cyber security strategies and frameworks & managing cyber security functions within critical infrastructure or similarly regulated organisations.
  • Knowledge of current and emerging trends in cyber security.
  • Demonstrated leadership in incident response planning and/or management.
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence.
