What you’ll do: 

  • Drive architectural simplification, application rationalisation, and technology standardisation across the enterprise to optimise application and integration architecture while reducing complexity and cost.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand strategic goals and guide planning, ensuring technology investments support long-term capabilities, meet regulatory needs, and align with operational priorities. Provide clear, domain-specific technology roadmaps that drive business outcomes.
  • Provide architectural oversight on enterprise platforms and define and enforce integration strategies, standards, and patterns to ensure seamless data and process flow across enterprise and partner ecosystems including external stakeholders.
  • Lead enterprise-wide initiatives to modernise legacy applications, consolidate platforms, and introduce composable and cloud based solutions. Champion innovation that enhances business performance, reliability, or customer experience. 
  • Identify architectural risks associated with legacy platforms, vendor dependencies, or integration vulnerabilities, and develop mitigation strategies that protect business continuity and meet cyber security, privacy, safety, and compliance requirements.
  • Be a trusted advisor to Executives, project sponsors, and solution teams. Foster cross-functional collaboration between domain architects, delivery teams, and external partners to ensure cohesive architecture outcomes and shared accountability for value delivery.


What we are looking for: 
 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Relevant architecture or integration certifications desirable.
  • Expertise in middleware, APIs, integration frameworks, and enterprise application suites.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise application architecture principles, frameworks, and methodologies. and software lifecycle management.
  • Strong background in stakeholder engagement and the ability to influence senior business and technology leaders.
  • Strategic thinker able to balance innovation with operational pragmatism.
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence.
