What you’ll do: 

  • Create and enforce security frameworks and standards across systems and applications. Design and maintain enterprise security architecture that aligns with business goals, risk tolerance, and regulations. Continuously improve security models and roadmaps to support strategic initiatives. Provide expert guidance to influence technology decisions and investments.
  • Ensure solutions are designed and implemented with security embedded by design (applications, infrastructure, data, and integrations). Provide security architecture guidance to solution architects and delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle. Lead security design reviews and assurance activities across multiple programs, ensuring enterprise consistency and traceability to risk frameworks. Conduct design reviews and provide assurance that solutions comply with security standards, regulatory obligations, and enterprise principles. 
  • Assess security and privacy implications of AI initiatives. Ensure appropriate risk treatments are assigned and tracked to closure in collaboration with the Digital, Cyber & AI Risk Advisor. Drive the development of AI security frameworks and ethical governance models to support emerging technology adoption.
  • Work with the enterprise security team to anticipate, evaluate, and mitigate emerging cyber and technology risks and recommend iterative improvements. Influence enterprise risk decisions through quantitative risk assessment and scenario.
  • Driving cultural change toward shared accountability for security in all technology decisions.
  • Reconciling diverse priorities across business, digital, and risk teams, ensuring security is seen as an enabler rather than a blocker. · Influencing non-security stakeholders to adopt security best practices in projects and BAU.


What we are looking for: 
 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience. Security certifications (CISM, CISSP, ISO 27001) desirable.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development in cybersecurity, cloud security, and enterprise architecture.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise security architecture principles, frameworks, and methodologies (e.g., SABSA, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, Zero Trust). Strong understanding of security domains including identity and access management, encryption, network security, data protection, and incident response.
  • Strong background in working with senior stakeholders, influencing decision-making, and balancing security with business outcomes
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence
