What you’ll do: 

  • Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance activities across facilities, including scheduling inspections and servicing for critical building equipment (e.g. fire safety, defibrillators, security 
    systems) in line with compliance standards.
  • Assist in the administration and monitoring of facility service contracts (e.g. cleaning, security, office supplies), ensuring performance standards are met and expenditure is accurately tracked.
  • Maintain and update property and asset registers to support timely repair, replacement, and disposal of equipment in accordance with policies and regulatory obligations.
  • Provide administrative support across facilities and project functions, including coordination of purchasing activities, and assisting with vendor and budget tracking.
  • Coordinate and deliver compliance related training and the dissemination of updated policies and procedures to internal staff and external contractors across fleet, property, and safety.
  • Support minor property project activities such as office fit-outs, relocations, and facilities upgrades by liaising with contractors, tracking project milestones, and ensuring timely delivery.


What we are looking for: 
 

  • Relevant Tertiary degree or experience deemed equivalent
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Building Code of Australia
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements relating to property
  • Ability to communicate clearly and to write clear reports and communications for a wide range of audiences and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience working in facilities management & property projects.
  • Sound stakeholder relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Effective and efficient time management skills, and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence
