What you’ll do: 

  • Establish and maintain end-to-end fleet, plant, and equipment lifecycle management processes, including asset planning, procurement, inventory/spares management, and disposal, ensuring clarity of standards and alignment with business needs.
  • Drive operational efficiency and transformation by developing and implementing streamlined processes, procedures, and policies that enhance asset utilisation, reduce downtime, and improve cost effectiveness.
  • Lead and provide support to the design and implementation of technical specifications, operational readiness plans, and acceptance testing criteria to ensure equipment and service providers meet safety, performance, and compliance standards.
  • Provide effective business partnering with internal and external stakeholders, enabling effective delivery of safe, reliable, and fit-for-purpose services through a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Leverage data and KPIs to analyse asset performance and identify improvement opportunities, collaborating with stakeholders to implement solutions that optimise costs, extend asset life, and enhance service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements related to fleet and logistics, embedding best practice governance across all operations.
  • Drive technology driven transformation initiatives in fleet and logistics management to modernise systems, improve safety, and deliver long-term value through innovative procurement and contract strategies.


What we are looking for: 
 

  • Relevant Bachelor degree or experience deemed equivalent.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, and policies in relation to fleet, logistics and asset management.
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements relating to fleet and logistics.
  • Knowledge and ability to use enterprise asset management and finance information systems.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and to write clear reports and communications for a wide range of audiences and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience working in fleet, plant and logistics & driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Effective and efficient time management skills, and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence
