What you’ll do: 

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously enhance high-quality, current registers for ICT contracts, hardware, and software assets, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and traceability across all systems.
  • Lead and expert advice on commercial and contractual lifecycle management for ICT suppliers, ensuring alignment with procurement frameworks, service-level outcomes, and vendor performance targets.
  • Ensure adherence to procurement and contract management frameworks, mitigating contractual, financial, and cybersecurity risks. Maintain audit-ready documentation to support governance and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate the asset planning cycle, enabling accurate budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost optimisation of technology assets and renewals.
  • Provide strategic asset insight, commercial risk management, and optimisation of contract value and provide recommendations.
  • Support and influence vendor relationships in collaboration with Technology owners and Procurement. Drive value-for-money outcomes and measurable service improvements through structured vendor performance reviews and KPI reporting.
  • Integrate asset and contract data into corporate reporting frameworks; design dashboards and reports to track KPIs, renewals, cost trends, and contract health. Provide data-driven insights to inform strategic sourcing decisions.
  • Educate staff on asset renewal cycles and ensure timely renewals or discontinuation.


What we are looking for: 
 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Procurement, IT, or related discipline.
  • Understanding of ICT hardware and software lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes, compliance requirements, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience in Information and Communications technology specifically regarding contract management including procurement, negotiation and ongoing contract management.
  • Extensive relationship management skills demonstrated ability to proactively and effectively provide high quality customer service, vendor management and high-level interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing vendor relationships.
  • Demonstrated understanding of ICT hardware and software lifecycle and licencing.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills.
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence
