WaterNSW is seeking an experienced DQP Business Analyst (Full-time, Max-Term)
to join our Land and Water Operations team.

What you’ll do: 

  • Identify, scope, and document processes to meet customer needs and associated continuous improvement objectives for the business.
  • Advise relevant stakeholders of the development of concise and mutually acceptable business processes that support and align to our organisational and strategic goals.
  • Facilitate stakeholders to analyse, integrate, redesign and document processes across the wider organisation in accordance with the WaterNSW business process structure and content standards.
  • Gather and extract data from a wide range of business systems to implement opportunities for improved operational performance and provide input and advice on quality control, auditing, customer management (both internal and external) and reporting.
  • Monitor, review and support DQP Portal activities and make recommendations to systematically ensure customer compliance and improve processes.

What we are looking for:  

  • Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar qualification or extensive experience as a business analyst.
  • Extensive experience in the development and improvement of business processes using a systematic and quality-controlled approach.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing change resistance and the practical application of change management techniques to achieve commitment.
  • Knowledge and experience in Business process management (BPM) tools and techniques (Process Development), continuous improvement tools and techniques (i.e. Lean, Six Sigma), problem solving techniques (i.e. Root cause analysis), basic project management skills (Planning and task management) and creating business reports from a data lake.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, and to build consensus where subject matter experts’ opinions differ to achieve outcomes.
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence.
