Portfolio Analyst

What you’ll do: 

  • Maintain a consolidated view of the Digital portfolio—including programs, projects, and BAU initiatives—to ensure alignment with agreed priorities and governance frameworks.
  • Prepare and maintain reporting packs on financials, resourcing, risk, and schedule health for executives, governance committees, and the Board as required.
  • Partner with Program Directors, PMO OIficers, and Finance to assist with budget tracking, forecasting, and monitoring of benefits realisation.
  • Identify and highlight portfolio interdependencies, conflicts, and resourcing constraints to support informed planning and decision-making.
  • Support the roll-out and adoption of portfolio management processes and tools in collaboration with the PMO.
  • Provide scenario analysis and recommendations to enable effective sequencing and re-prioritisation when required.
  • Drive ongoing enhancement of portfolio governance and reporting frameworks.


What we are looking for: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Project/Portfolio Management, or related discipline.
  • Certification in portfolio/program/project management (e.g., MoP, MSP, PRINCE2, PMI) desirable.
  • Strong understanding of portfolio and program management frameworks.
  • Knowledge of benefits realisation, financial management, and performance analysis.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, PPM systems)
  • Proven experience in portfolio or program analysis and reporting in a complex organisation.
  • Experience preparing reports and dashboards for executives and governance committees.
  • Background in financial tracking, benefits analysis, and risk/dependency management.
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence
